Frequently asked questions
Straight answers for parents. Still stuck? Email support.
How much does it cost?
New households get $2 starter credit with no card required. After that you buy $5, $10, $25, or $50 prepaid packs, or turn on auto-reload when the wallet is low.
Is this a subscription?
No. One prepaid wallet covers the whole house—not a monthly seat per kid. You only top up when you want more chat and pictures.
What ages is it for?
A parent 18 or older sets up the household. Kids use a profile you create, from little kids through teens. Rules get stricter for younger children—Think Harder stays off under 8, and pictures stay off until you allow them. A child doesn’t get their own adult account.
Do credits expire? What happens at $0?
Unused credits stay in the household wallet until you use them. They are not a monthly subscription and they don’t roll off at the end of the month. When the wallet hits $0, chat and pictures pause until a parent tops up. Optional auto-reload can buy a pack when the balance is low.
What model does Rosie use?
Chat is powered by Grok 4.6, a current top-tier model. Rosie can also generate high-quality pictures when a parent turns image generation on for a child.
Can kids generate images?
Only if you allow it on their profile. High-quality image generation stays off until you say it’s allowed, and you can review what they make.
Can I read my kid’s chats?
Yes. Parents get a read-only view of each profile’s conversations. You can also export or wipe a child’s history from the parent console.
PIN or email login?
Both. A PIN is handy on a shared tablet at home. You can also invite a child’s email so they sign in on their own phone—same profile, same rules, same wallet.
Can the other parent see it too?
Yes. Invite a co-parent to share the household, the wallet, and the parent console.
Can I add Rosie to my Home Screen?
Rosie is a website you can install. On iPhone, open Rosie in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android Chrome, use Install app in the browser menu. There is no App Store listing.
